Description From the CD booklet: Some people say that Maol Donn was a poor widow’s prize cow, that was lost in a bog. The whole village turned out to help look for it. In Morar, they say that the song was composed by Ranald when he was walking on Camusdarach beach and found a beautiful smooth round seashell.

Cha bu shealbhach dhomh d’fhaotainn
’S e mo ghaol am maol donn
I wouldn’t be fortunate finding you
My love is the brown brow

Gad shireadh ’s gad fhaotainn
’S gad shlaodadh à poll.
Searching for you and finding you
And dragging you out of the mire
