Description | A headless ghost, Colainn gun Cheann, was terrorising the district of Morar. It was the ghost of a woman, who had been killed by an angry landowner. Ranald was the only man brave enough to approach the ghost. He made the ghost promise to leave and never to return to trouble the people there. As the ghost fled, it sang this song: O ’s fhada tha mi an cùl Beinn Eadarra Long am I at the back of Ben Eadarra ’s fhada tha mi am Bealach a’ Mhorghain Long am I at the Pass of Morghain Bho thaobh gu thaobh an cùl Beinn Eadarra >From side to side at the back of Ben Eadarra Bho thaobh gu thaobh am Bealach a’ Mhorghain >From side to side at the Pass of Morghain |
