Other Information

Inspired by a variety of sources including my children and the Scottish landscape, I enjoy hand building in earthenware clay using texture engobes and luster's to create richly coloured decorative and tactile pieces.
My ceramic artwork is constantly evolving and I am happiest expressing myself through clay, resulting in a wide range of ceramics. The work varies from functional to sculptural as well as making commemorative wares and handmade and painted tiles to commission.
Recently I rediscovered my love for painting which I'm exploring with great relish!
I also tutor pottery workshops and one to one intensive courses.
