Biography

Lily Taylor

Trained in Cartography at Aberdeen University and now use that skill to paint in Pen & Ink. Animals, wild and domestic are my favourite subjects which I paint in Pastel and Pen & Ink, having learned the use of Pastels from two of Scotland's top pastellists. I undertake pet commissions which I enjoy. I have helped run the Forecourt Art Group, the Deeside Art Group and am currently on the committee of ArtAboyne, which holds an annual exhibition in Royal Deeside. I am also on the committee of NEOS as Membership Secretary. I travel to Africa frequently to visit family where there is ample opportunity to photograph animals in their environment, but also sadly, in rescue centres and orphanages.
