I am a Scottish born painter living in Perthshire. I dabbled in oils in my twenties, in Donegal, mainly landscapes, before moving to Dublin, where I studied Interior Design, including perspective drawing at Griffith College and History of European Painting at TCD.
On returning to Scotland, I studied for a time under Charles Harris at Scone Studios.
I now have the time to devote to painting on a regular basis, and enjoy working with acrylics and oils.
Recently I have had the opportunity to work with Donal Power, acclaimed Wildlife/landscape photographer and Irish Wildlife Photographer of the Year, on a series of wildlife paintings, which are ongoing. Living in rural Perthshire is also a constant source of inspiration, as I observe the nature, changing light and seasons in this beautiful part of Scotland.
