Metaphrog are Franco-Scottish duo Sandra Marrs and John Chalmers, winners of The Sunday Herald Scottish Culture Awards Best Visual Artist 2016. They have been working for over twenty years creating graphic novels and are one of Scotland's leading creators. Their work has received international acclaim and multiple award nominations, including three for the Eisner Awards (the Oscars of comics). Louis - Night Salad was Highly Commended for the Scottish Children's Book Awards 2011. They were Writers in Residence at the Edinburgh International Book Festival in 2015. Their current work centres on fairy tale adaptations with The Red Shoes and Other Tales and The Little Mermaid, and the striking images they create are available here as fine art prints.
