Painter and Film-maker. Visiting Professor of Fine Art, University of Abertay Dundee. Has held teaching posts in Art Schools in Cork, Glasgow and Dundee. Until 2001 was Head of Painting at Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art, University of Dundee. Elected Royal Scottish Academician, 2005.
