Biography

Walter S Watson

We moved to St Andrews from the west coast of Scotland in 2006. I became fascinated by the picturesque coastal towns and villages, the quality of light, and the big skies. This has encouraged me to return to painting after a gap of many years. Most of my work is watercolour as I like the purity of the medium - when things go well - although I also use pastels where you can get such vibrancy of colour.
I am thoroughly enjoying my return to painting and I hope you too enjoy the results.
