| Sonas was born and brought up on the coast of Caithness where she learned an appreciation of the sea and a love of coastal scenes and small harbours. In her work she combines colour, composition and tones to distill the harmonies and moods that she sees in the landscapes around her. Sonas says she would like her images to communicate a sense of hope, strength and an intangible sense of place. | ||
