biography:
I like to work freely with different media - charcoal, pastels, oils, various print techniques and collage - and explore the dynamic relationship between ourselves and our environment. I have an MA in Archaeology (Edinburgh) as well as a BA in Fine Art (Sheffield) and a life long interest in climbing. These aspects are reflected in my work. I have worked as an archaeologist, an archaeological illustrator, lectured on the relationship between art and archaeology and run several school-based art projects. As a committee member for FDPW I oversee the exhibition programme.
