biography:
Trained with the Open College of Art: Principally a landscape painter in oil and watercolour, and recently also using monoprint techniques. Inspired by wide open spaces and landscapes devoid of human element; tries to express this by reducing complexity to simple bold images. This is leading her into more abstract work exploring spatial relationships and also into a return to still life subjects. Currently studying for an MFA at Edinburgh College of Art.
